Absolutely incredible and very memorable stay at Villa Estrella Mar!! As everyone has mentioned in previous review the staff is outstanding. Nothing is too much to ask and they are always there to help with any needs. The food was also incredible. We love Puerta Vallarta for all the restaurants and stands, but Lola and Lupe knocked it out of the park with their Mole, Birria, and various fish courses.
We traveled with 14 of my friends and family for a 50th Birthday celebration and we just had the most amazing time. Can't wait to come back again someday to make some more memories!
Estrella mar is hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed at! The entire experience was incredible and makes you feel like royalty; the staff is on their A game all the time. Where else can you go where they hand you a margarita as soon as you get out of the car when you first arrive? We loved our stay so much and cannot wait to get back down to PV and stay at Estrella Mar again.
This is the perfect getaway! Truly carefree living. The staff takes care of everything, and the only thing we needed to worry about was what to order for the next meal. The food was fresh, varied and delicious. I have food allergies and they carefully made sure they were never an issue for me. Breakfast included guacamole, bacon, a fruit plate: fresh mango, papaya, etc… We were well cared for. The staff was very kind and ensured that I could focus on my work with no distractions. All your needs are met. The villa is beautiful and spacious. Enchanted spaces were found around every turn, with the curved architecture and the Mexican art throughout, it had a delightful sense of whimsy. It certainly feels unique due to the art and the design. We had 6-8 people during our 5 day stay. I highly recommend this for get togethers. A couple of us would get up before breakfast and congregate on the balcony with the comfortable wicker chairs in the open air. The staff brought coffee as we watched the whales. There are plenty of other spots to congregate – by the pool, in the main room, on the balcony outside the bedrooms. One evening we invited friends over for the afternoon and evening. The rooms still felt spacious and worked well for entertaining more people without feeling cramped. It was very comfortable at night. You wake up to the sounds of waves on the beach and the smell of bacon. I had a sitting area, a shower and bathtub and huge dressing room with two sinks. The villa is right on the beach with multiple floors, each open with archways and decorated with artwork and flowers. The town is a pleasant walk away, where there are delightful art galleries to browse. If you prefer to take a cab to town, the staff will order one for you. One night we ate in town on the beach – the food was delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Villa Estrella Mar is one of the most breathtaking private villas in the Playa Conchas Chinas area! My husband and I fell in love with the property after touring over a dozen villas for our destination wedding venue. Immediately upon arriving, we knew Villa Estrella Mar was “the one.” The beautiful architecture, the authentic Mexican art, and unbeatable views make the Villa truly outstanding. Pictures can hardly convey just how impeccable the grounds are. We stayed at the Villa in October with 16 of our closest friends. Wedding aside, it was important to my husband and I to ensure that all of our guests felt pampered and that they had an unforgettable vacation. A vacation at the Villa surpasses any experience you would have at a local resort. Paco, Jovanni and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our friends and family. From preparing amazing meals, to making poolside margaritas, to saving the day when last minute wedding disasters struck, the staff took such great care of us and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re looking to plan a wedding here, I highly recommend doing so! We used the pool area for our ceremony, the garden terrace level for cocktail hour and spacious living room for our reception. Our guests were blown away by the Villa’s beauty and the views from every level. We can’t wait to return to Villa Estrella Mar for future anniversaries and celebrations!
We stayed at Villa Estrella Mar for a week and it was super relaxing. We were blown away by the beauty of the villa, the fantastic views, the private pool and access to the beach. The entire villa is decorated traditionally which takes you back into a different time and place. The villa is huge and we loved exploring and walking through the different rooms, and getting down to the beach directly from the villa. The town is just a 10-min walk on the beach which is very convenient to get to the shops, restaurants or boats that take you fishing/ snorkeling/ jet skiing. We stayed at the suite overlooking the private pool and the ocean, which was so spacious, with a beautiful bath tub and a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff there is excellent and pamper you – Paco, Giovanni, Chefs Lupe and Lola, were all wonderful. They made some extraordinary food and were there to always care of you to ensure you have a fun/ relaxing time – be it the margaritas, clean and ironed laundry or a taxi to go into town. We were overfed with fantastic food and drinks – if you are someone who loves to try the local flavors, you won't be disappointed. We loved the breakfast French toast along with other local unique Mexican dishes. Breakfasts and dinners in the expansive dining room with amazing sunsets over the Pacific Ocean with lunches by the poolside were an absolute treat. Spending time at the villa was amazing and an experience that we will never forget. We will be back!!

I wanted to personally write a testimonial about Villa Estrella Mar because this is the villa where I got married, prior to my husband & I moving to Puerto Vallarta and before Larissa & I started Agave Villas. In my honest opinion, Estrella Mar is truly one of the most exquisite villas you will ever find. The grandeur of the style of the home is perfectly matched with the spectacular level of service that the staff provides. Each bedroom is uniquely beautiful and the common area spaces are beyond impressive. The photos do not do this villa justice. It's a huge bonus that it's so conveniently located to town, but honestly, once you walk through the doors, you'll never want to leave.
