We had a fabulous stay at Villa McFuego. The house was perfect, the staff was AMAZING(!!!!) and the location can't be beat. We spent all day either poolside or down at the beach. The shade in the created by the house (until about 3pm) made the pool a favorite hangout spot given how hot it was when we were there. The beach is private and easy to access. We only saw someone else down there once all week. The food was great as well (Lobster the last night was the highlight)!
I love this place! The sound of the ocean, the incredible hospitality, the art, the delicious meals, THE VIEW! So peaceful and perfect. What a fun trip and an incredible place to stay. We will be back for years to come!
This vacation is "Heaven on earth!" The pictures on line don't do it justice! The view is unobstructed ocean, with many whale sightings from every room. The staff is wonderful! I'd like to take them home with me! I plan on coming back with my Family every year!!!
Villa McFuego is a place like no other. When you get to the villa you walk down a beautiful long staircase, lined with bougainvillea. When you get through the front door you find yourself standing in the living room. You then have to take a deep breath and take in what surrounds you. Right in front of you is the ocean. The living room, kitchen, dining area and small breakfast nook are all connected and open, and all of it looks out onto the ocean. Each space is equally as beautiful as the next. As you walk over to the wall overlooking the second floor, you look down onto the patio, filled with flowering plants, palm trees, lounge chairs and fresh towels, daily. There is a beautiful big round glass table to have lunch on during the day and drinks at sunset, but the best is the perfectly sized round pool, to spend the days in and maybe even a late night swim before going to bed. There are three bedrooms and three baths, each room is exquisitely decorated and so are the bathrooms. Each room opens up onto the patio. You can turn over in bed and watch sailboats, cruise ships and maybe even a whale coming in and out of the bay. The house has a staff of 3. A cook, housekeeper and house man. The Villa is kept up beautifully and Estella is an incredible cook.
Villa McFuego is heaven on earth and a perfect place to stay with family and friends.
